Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Restorative Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing patients' quality of life through dedicated rehabilitation and restorative care. In this energetic position, you will assist patients with their daily activities, support recovery processes, and promote independence in a supportive clinical environment. Duties Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living using proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques Support rehabilitation efforts by helping patients perform prescribed exercises under supervision Monitor and document patient progress accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality of all patient information Provide compassionate patient care by addressing individual needs and fostering a supportive environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate intake procedures and ensure seamless patient transitions Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support clinical staff in delivering effective care Ensure safety during heavy lifting and physical activity by adhering to proper techniques and safety protocols Requirements Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings, especially in inpatient or outpatient environments Familiarity with physiotherapy practices, rehabilitation care assistance, and post-acute or sub-acute care experience Knowledge of patient transfer methods, mobility aids, and manual handling safety procedures Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and hospital medicine practices Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or equivalent emergency response training Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while supporting patients' mobility needs Excellent client communication skills with a focus on empathetic patient service and maintaining confidentiality Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or orthopedic patients is preferred Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through energetic support and expert care!
