Duties Safely operate various passenger vehicles to transport patients and staff across local routes. Assist with loading, unloading, and securing medical equipment or personal belongings during transit. Maintain accurate documentation of trips, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections in compliance with healthcare transportation standards. Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety features, ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols at all times during transit. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring passenger comfort throughout each journey. Requirements CNA License in Florida Proven driver experience with a focus on passenger or medical transportation preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating passenger vans, shuttle buses, or limousine services highly desirable. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time traffic updates. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting or assisting passengers with mobility challenges. Knowledge of local driving routes as well as state transportation regulations governing medical transport services. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Experience in vehicle maintenance routines to ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Prior medical transportation experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
