Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide/Nurse to provide essential support to our disabled autistic son during the night. Needs help with keeping Oxygen on, changing of bed if needed, helping to the Bathroom etc. Friday and Saturday nights every week 1030-730 am Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Document client progress and report any changes in health status or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. Skills Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems to communicate effectively within the healthcare team. Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A compassionate demeanor combined with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
