Job Description
Telford Loving Care is preparing to launch in Alpharetta, Roswell and Milton, and we are building our first team of caregivers now. Pay is $18 to $21 per hour, depending on your experience and certifications. Free training that you keep for life. Before we open, our first caregivers go through ALTRU Academy, led by Melanie Honeycutt, RN, BSN, CHPN, CCM. Melanie is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse and a Certified Case Manager. She will teach hospice and end of life care, and Alzheimer's and dementia care, as separate tracks. The training costs you nothing, and the skills go with you wherever your career takes you. What the work is. Non-medical in-home care for older adults. Companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation. You would be in clients' homes, not a facility. We do not book visits under four hours. Your time and your drive are worth something, and we are not going to send you across town for ninety minutes. What we are looking for. Experience caring for older adults, whether professionally or for your own family. A CNA certificate is a plus but not required. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. Most of all, someone who notices things. Honest about timing. We are not taking clients yet. We are preparing to launch and building our team first, so we are hiring for the weeks ahead rather than today. and you will be considered for our first Academy training cohort. How to apply. Apply here and we will send you a short assessment. It takes about twenty minutes and it is how we get to know you beyond a resume. We choose our people by one standard. Would we trust them in our own mother's home?
