Job Description
CNA Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of your job description is to participate in the basic nursing care of the patient from admission through discharge and to perform non-nursing functions. Non-nursing duties will include but not limited to performing CNA duties, keeping rooms clean and stocked, clerical duties as assigned, answering phones and relaying messages appropriately. This position is responsible to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and manager.
Requirements:
Education
- High School Graduate or GED Experience: Minimum
- Up to 1 year of job related experience Maximum
- 2•5 years of recent related experience Licenses/Certificates•Certified Nursing Assistant•State of GA or Medical Assistant Certification•or•equivalent education as a Nursing Student for those nursing students actively enrolled in a nursing program (i.
e. 1st Semester of basic nursing skills completed with skills checklist verified)
- BLS•Obtain within 60 days of hire.
