Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide high-quality, personalized care to our client in their home in Fairburn, Georgia, from 10 am-5 pm every other weekend. The ideal candidate
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, MUST HAVE CURRENT CPR & FIRST AID
(COMPLETED
IN CLASS, NOT ONLINE
), MUST
HAVE CURRENT TB, AND A BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE CONDUCTED.
Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts if needed. Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient health and safety. Offer companionship and emotional support to the client. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a CNA or PCA working with patients who may have dementia or mental disability. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures. Strong communication skills. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to complete medical documentation accurately and efficiently, such as the Caregiver's Time and Activity Record Sheet. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of relevant training programs is required.
