Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team for overnight shift which is 10:00pm to 7:00am and 3:00pm to 10pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including home care, hospitals, and behavioral health facilities. This role is vital in providing high-quality patient care and support within our organization, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and assistance. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, Provide catheter care and support for patients with acute care needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Support geriatric patients by providing compassionate care tailored to their specific needs. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Skills Proficient in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology. Experience in home care, hospital settings, or Level II Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Knowledge of behavioral health practices and acute care procedures. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Ability to provide empathetic care to geriatric patients and those in nursing homes. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
