Job Description

Brightmoor Hospice is a great and growing Hospice company centrally located in Spalding County, GA. Brightmoor Hospice values our team members, recognizes your special skills and promotes opportunities for growth. We are currently accepting applications for Part Time Inpatient CNA.
Part Time Position:
Wednesday 7PM-7AM Under the supervision of a registered nurse and following the patient's plan of care, Hospice CNAs perform various services for patients as necessary to meet the their personal needs and to promote comfort in the inpatient unit facility.
Applicants must:
be CNA certified in GA posses reliable transportation current CPR have a valid drivers license have a current TB be 18 years of age be self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision understand hospice philosophy and comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill provides a calm and professional manner when in a patient's presences Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given on EMR posses excellent communication skills
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:
follow patient care plan and assist with bathing, transferring, personal care, dressing and other daily living activities follow company policies and procedures attend staff meetings and in-services as directed maintain documentation of your patient care in the EMR system assist RN/LPN as needed provide emotional support and comfort to the patient and family report changes you observe in the patient to the RN Case Manager other duties as assigned
