Join Our Team at KindTouch Healthcare Services KindTouch Healthcare Services is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one care in the client's home . In this role, you will provide individualized support and assistance while helping the client remain comfortable, safe, and engaged in daily life. Client Description The client is an individual diagnosed with severe intellectual disabilities and spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy . The client requires assistance and supervision with daily activities and personal care. The DSP will provide individualized support in the client's home based on the client's needs and established plan of care. DSP Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding as needed. Provide one-on-one supervision and support in the client's home. Assist with mobility and positioning as needed. Support participation in recreational and leisure activities. Implement the client's established plan of care. Complete required documentation, including progress notes and other service documentation. Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior. Provide compassionate companionship and encourage independence whenever appropriate. Follow all KindTouch Healthcare Services policies, procedures, and client-specific care instructions. Perform other client-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous DSP, caregiving, home care, or developmental disability experience is a plus. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive. Comfortable assisting with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs). Strong communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to successfully pass required background screening. Must have completed the required Relias training or be willing to complete all required Relias training prior to starting the case.
