Caregiver Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNAs to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including inpatient care and long-term care facilities. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Duties As a CNA, your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitoring and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Administering medications as directed by nursing staff while ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Providing support in emergency situations by following established protocols for emergency medicine. Assisting with mobility and lifting of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Engaging with patients in a respectful manner, fostering a positive environment for those with disabilities or special needs. Collaborating with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, including those in pediatrics. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the patient care area to ensure a safe environment. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: CNA License Previous experience in patient care or healthcare settings is preferred. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and medication administration is highly desirable. Experience working in long-term care or inpatient environments is a plus. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices is beneficial. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality is essential. Ability to lift patients safely and assist them with mobility challenges effectively. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an advantage.
