Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - In-Home Care Covington, GA 30055 | Monday-Friday | 35 Hours Per Week Job Summary Just Peachy Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide consistent one-on-one care for a senior client in the Covington, Georgia 30055 area . This is a 35-hour-per-week, Monday-through-Friday assignment for a client who is mobile but benefits from assistance with daily activities, safety, household tasks, and companionship. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, comfortable assisting a client with visual impairment and mobility considerations, and committed to helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life at home. Schedule Monday through Friday 35 hours per week Approximately 7 hours per day Consistent weekday assignment In-person care in Covington, GA 30055 Responsibilities Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the client's care plan Provide appropriate guidance and assistance for a client with visual impairment Assist with safe mobility and navigation throughout the home Encourage independence while remaining available for assistance Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed Prepare meals and assist with meal setup Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization Assist with errands and other approved activities as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment Observe for changes in the client's condition, mobility, or behavior and report concerns appropriately Complete required care documentation accurately and on time Follow the client's individualized plan of care and all Just Peachy Home Care policies and procedures Qualifications Current CNA certification required Previous home care, private-duty, senior care, assisted living, or similar caregiving experience preferred Experience assisting seniors with visual or mobility-related needs is a plus Knowledge of fall prevention and general home safety Patient, compassionate, dependable, and attentive Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently in a client's home Reliable transportation CPR/First Aid certification preferred Current TB screening preferred Ability to successfully complete all required background and onboarding requirements Ability to reliably commute to Covington, GA 30055 Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who understands that excellent home care is about more than completing tasks.
