Immediate Start Job Description We are looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide quality in-home care to a client in the Roswell/Sandy Springs area. This position is a great opportunity for a caregiver who enjoys providing companionship and supportive care while helping a client remain safe, comfortable, and independent in her home. The caregiver will provide assistance with daily routines, light meal preparation, hydration, mobility and comfort, medication reminders, safety, and emotional support. The caregiver should be attentive to changes in the client's breathing, pain level, mobility, mood, and overall well-being and communicate any concerns to the office. Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with activities of daily living as needed Monitor the client's overall well-being, comfort, and safety Observe for signs of breathing difficulty and report concerns Provide medication reminders as appropriate Assist with light meal and snack preparation Encourage hydration throughout the shift Assist with mobility and provide support when needed Observe mobility and report significant changes in gait, pain, or comfort Help maintain a safe environment and identify potential fall hazards Assist with comfortable positioning as needed Encourage independence by allowing the client to safely complete tasks she can manage Provide reassurance and social interaction while family is away Complete accurate visit documentation Document relevant observations, including mood, pain, medication reminders, meals, and hydration Communicate changes or concerns to office staff promptly Follow the client's care plan and assigned duties Requirements PCA or CNA experience, certification, or training as applicable to the position Current CPR & First Aid certification Current TB test or required TB documentation Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude Reliable and dependable attendance Dependable transportation Ability to communicate effectively with clients and office staff Ability to pass a background check Benefits Competitive pay: $14
