BTG Medical Academy - Hybrid Program Theoretical Learning (Online), Lab Training (On Campus), Clinicals (Hospital/Nursing Home/Assisted Living)
Job Summary :
BTG Medical Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Instructor to join our team. In this hybrid program, students complete theoretical learning online, while lab training is conducted at our campus and clinicals at affiliated hospitals or nursing homes. We are looking for instructors to guide students through hands-on lab skills training and clinical experiences, ensuring they are well-prepared for certification and their future careers in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities :
Lab Instruction :
Provide hands-on skills training to students in our on-campus lab, teaching proper CNA procedures, safety protocols, and patient care techniques.
Clinical Instruction :
Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations at designated hospitals or nursing homes, ensuring they gain practical experience and meet required competencies.
Student Assessment :
Monitor student performance during lab and clinicals, providing constructive feedback and evaluating their progress based on CNA certification standards.
Compliance :
Ensure all training aligns with Georgia state regulations, NATP standards, and BTG Medical Academy's policies.
Collaboration :
Work with the program coordinator and other faculty to ensure students receive a cohesive learning experience, integrating online theoretical learning with practical lab and clinical skills.
Qualifications :
Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a long-term care facility, nursing home, or hospital setting. Previous teaching experience or experience mentoring and training CNA students preferred. Knowledge of NATP and Georgia CNA certification requirements. Strong communication skills and a passion for student success. Willing to obtain the Train the Trainer Certification.
Schedule :
This is a Part Time or PRN contract position. Lab sessions are held at our Stockbridge campus, and clinicals are conducted at partner healthcare facilities. Flexibility is required to accommodate program schedules. 100%

Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday :
5pm to 9pm
Friday:
8:30am to 2:30pm

8:30am to 2:30pm
