Mir Home Care is hiring Entry-Level Caregivers to provide in-home support to members enrolled in Georgia's EDWP (Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program) , including CCSP and SOURCE members. Perfect Opportunity for CNA Students! Are you currently in school working toward becoming a CNA, nursing assistant, medical assistant, nurse, or other healthcare professional ? This is a great opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on caregiving experience that you can add to your resume while completing school. No CNA certification is required to apply. We provide the training needed to perform your assigned caregiver duties. What You'll Do Assist members with daily living activities and personal care based on their approved care plan Provide companionship and safety supervision Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation Help members maintain a safe and comfortable home environment Communicate professionally with members, families, and the care team Follow the member's individualized service plan and company policies Document services provided accurately Gain valuable experience working with older adults and individuals with disabilities Why This Is a Great Job for Students No CNA certification required Gain hands-on healthcare and caregiving experience Build your resume before graduating Learn how to work with patients/members in a home-care setting Flexible part-time hours may work well around a school schedule Valuable experience for students planning to pursue CNA, nursing, or other healthcare careers Pay & Hours $13.00 per hour Available schedules may range from approximately 25-40 hours per week , depending on the member's approved service hours and your availability.
Estimated gross pay:
25 hrs/week: approximately $650 every 2 weeks / $1,408 monthly 30 hrs/week: approximately $780 every 2 weeks / $1,690 monthly 40 hrs/week: approximately $1,040 every 2 weeks / $2,253 monthly Actual hours and pay depend on the member's authorized hours and your assigned schedule. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old No CNA certification required Reliable and dependable Professional and compassionate attitude Able to pass required background and onboarding requirements Willing to complete required training Previous healthcare or caregiving experience is a plus, but not required Who We're Looking For We especially encourage CNA students, nursing students, healthcare students, and individuals interested in starting a career in healthcare to apply.
