Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment while promoting independence and dignity. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with mobility challenges, including lifting and transferring as needed. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space. Administer medication reminders and assist with basic healthcare needs. Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Requirements Knowledge and experience of Asian culture is an advantage. Korean and Filipino languages are preferred but not required. Previous experience in home care, senior care, or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients on a personal level. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while maintaining proper body mechanics. Basic cooking skills to prepare meals that meet client preferences and nutritional needs. A compassionate attitude towards working with individuals with disabilities or special needs. Reliable transportation may be required for travel between client homes or appointments.
