Certified Medical Assistant

• 25 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, with the possibility of one Friday per month Cherry Heights Clinic is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our supportive, patient-centered team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and compassionate Medical Assistant who enjoys building relationships with patients, working closely with providers, and having a consistent four-day workweek.

Position Requirements Applicants must have:

Current Medical Assistant certification, such as CMA, RMA, or CCMA At least two years of hands-on Medical Assistant experience Strong experience administering injections Proficiency with phlebotomy and laboratory draws Current BLS/CPR certification Experience using an Electronic Health Record system Knowledge of HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to multitask while remaining accurate, organized, and professional Because this position involves injections and laboratory draws, current certification and hands-on clinical experience are required. Primary Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories and vital signs Administer injections and assist with in-office treatments and procedures Perform blood draws and prepare laboratory specimens Support providers during patient visits Process laboratory orders, referrals, and provider-requested tasks Assist with communicating approved results and instructions to patients Maintain accurate and timely documentation Monitor and organize clinical supplies and inventory Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Provide compassionate, professional care that helps patients feel comfortable and valued Why Join Cherry Heights Clinic?
