Job Overview\ Our family is looking for a CNA to help with our family with a member who has dementia. We are l;looking for someone to help with ADLs and activities. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. It would be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays afternoons, for a couple hours each day. Time is also negotiable. Duties Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility using safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper procedures and adherence to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Maintain a clean and safe environment by practicing aseptic techniques Support patients in home & community care settings, providing compassionate caregiving that respects individual needs and preferences. Skills Must have active CNA and be medication certified Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR certification. Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and efficiently while maintaining patient comfort Excellent caregiver communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families Experience working in various healthcare environments such as hospitals (including trauma centers), outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home care settings. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of all patient information at all times. We love this family member so much and really want to get her the help she needs.
