Job description: Caregiver for

Elderly Couple Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour - 12 hour shifts 9A-9P and 9P-9A Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable caregiver to assist a married couple in their home. The goal is to provide high-quality support that allows them to maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities Personal Care:

Assist both individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

Mobility Support:

Provide steady assistance with walking, transferring from bed to chair, and using mobility aids (walkers/wheelchairs) to prevent falls.

Meal Preparation:

Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and ensure proper hydration.

Medication Management:

Provide reminders and monitor medication schedules to ensure doses are taken as prescribed.

Light Housekeeping:

Maintain a clean and safe environment through tasks like laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas.

Companionship:

Engage in meaningful conversation, light exercise, and social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Transportation & Errands:

Drive or accompany the couple to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and personal errands.

Health Monitoring:

Observe and report any changes in physical or mental health to family members or healthcare providers. Required Qualifications Proven experience in senior care (experience with dementia care is a need). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina to assist with transfers and mobility. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Certification in CPR and First Aid (needed). Must pass a comprehensive background check.
