CNA, Nursing home, Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Nursing Home Part-Time | 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Rotating Weekends & Holidays Join the Hopedale Medical Complex Team! Are you a compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional care? Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our Nursing Home team. In this role, you'll provide hands-on resident care while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team committed to delivering quality, resident-centered care. This position is primarily based in our Nursing Home. Cross-training and occasional floating to the Hospital and Commons Assisted Living Facility may be required based on resident care needs and staffing requirements. HMC Offers Excellent benefits package Quality childcare located in Hopedale Wellness Center membership 401(k) with employer match Shift differential: $3.00/hour for night shifts $4.00/hour for weekend shifts Schedule Part-time 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Rotating weekends and holidays What You'll Do Assist licensed nursing staff in providing compassionate, high-quality resident care. Provide direct care under the supervision of an RN or LPN while maintaining resident comfort, dignity, and safety. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals. Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff. Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while following infection prevention and safety protocols. Protect resident privacy by maintaining HIPAA compliance. Participate in required training, continuing education, and competency development. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Current CPR certification required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to cross-train and float to other Hopedale Medical Complex departments as needed. Pre-Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon successfully completing: Federal and State criminal background checks. Drug and alcohol screening. Hopedale Medical Complex tests for both illegal and legal substances, including cannabis (THC).
