Palatine, Illinois Job Type:
Part-Time/PRN The Grand at Twin Lakes is seeking dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistants to join our Independent and Assisted Living community. We are looking for CNAs who genuinely enjoy working with seniors and understand that kindness, patience, professionalism, and regulatory compliance are essential parts of providing excellent care. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility Respond promptly to resident calls, pendants, and requests for assistance Provide personal care while respecting each resident's privacy, dignity, choices, and independence Follow each resident's individualized service plan and documented care needs Observe residents for changes in condition and immediately report concerns to the appropriate supervisor Accurately and promptly complete all required documentation Assist with meal service and escort residents to meals and activities as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Communicate professionally with residents, families, coworkers, and leadership Work cooperatively with the care team to provide consistent, high quality service Follow infection control procedures, emergency protocols, safety requirements, and all community policies Perform additional resident-care responsibilities as assigned Training and Compliance Expectations The Grand at Twin Lakes is a state-regulated Assisted Living community. Every team member is expected to remain prepared for a state survey at all times not only when a surveyor is in the building.All CNAs are required to:
Follow all Illinois Assisted Living regulations and community policies Maintain complete, accurate, and timely resident documentation Know and follow residents' current service plans Keep all licenses, certifications, health requirements, and employee records current Complete assigned Relias training every month by the 15th Attend and participate in all required meetings, in-services, drills, and continuing education Follow proper infection-control, handwashing, personal protective equipment, and resident-safety procedures Understand emergency procedures and their assigned responsibilities during an emergency Cooperate professionally with state surveyors and follow leadership's instructions during a survey Immediately report resident concerns, incidents, injuries, allegations of abuse or neglect, and changes in condition Remain compliant with all mandatory reporting requirements Correct identified concerns promptly and accept coaching when additional education is needed Qualifications Current Illinois CNA certification in good standing Previous senior living, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care experience is preferred CPR certification is preferred Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility Comfortable using electronic training and documentation systems Reliable attendance and punctuality are required Must successfully complete all required background checks, health screenings, and employment requirements Why Join The Grand at Twin Lakes?
