Job Description
Overview We seek a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team on night shift at our small skilled nursing home. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Hours available are 6 pm to 6 am and 10 pm to 6 am. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, promoting independence and dignity. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to ensure accurate medical documentation. Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained, adhering to infection control protocols. Support patients with mobility needs, including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs, promoting safety and independence. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a comfortable living space for patients. Experience Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus, demonstrating proficiency in electronic record-keeping Experience in specialized areas such as memory care or dementia care is beneficial
