Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA - Warsaw, IN | Immediate Openings Elite Home Healthcare, LLC is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for current one-on-one, in-home patient care opportunities in Warsaw, Indiana and surrounding communities . Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Additional Hours Available | One-on-One Home Care We have patients in the Warsaw area who need dependable caregivers now. If you're an experienced HHA or CNA looking for a change from facility-based care, home health gives you the opportunity to focus on the individual in front of you. You'll provide personalized care in the patient's home while working from an established Plan of Care with the support and supervision of Elite's clinical team. Why Work With Elite Home Healthcare? Overtime pay for eligible hours worked over 40 in a workweek Medical, dental and vision benefits for eligible employees 401(k) benefits for eligible employees Paid Time Off (PTO) for eligible employees RN and clinical support Opportunities to work with additional patients as hours become available What You'll Do As an HHA or CNA with Elite Home Healthcare, you'll provide individualized care and support to patients in their homes according to the patient's Plan of Care and under appropriate clinical direction and supervision. Depending on the patient's Plan of Care, your qualifications, demonstrated competency, and assigned responsibilities, duties may include: Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene Providing personal care and assistance with mobility, transfers and positioning Performing assigned care tasks within your demonstrated competency and authorized responsibilities Providing household services essential to the patient's health and safety Assisting with medications that are ordinarily self-administered when permitted by applicable requirements, the patient's Plan of Care and Elite policy Observing patients for changes in condition, behavior or needs and promptly reporting concerns to the supervising Registered Nurse Following each patient's individualized Plan of Care Accurately documenting services provided, care completed and relevant observations Completing required visit documentation according to Agency requirements Following infection-control, patient-safety and bloodborne-pathogen procedures Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality Communicating effectively with patients, families, nurses, supervisors and other members of the care team Participating in required training and continuing education
HHA / CNA
Qualifications Candidates must: Be at least 18 years of age Meet applicable Indiana requirements for the position and services being provided Maintain required certification and/or registry status, as applicable Complete required competency evaluations and demonstrate competency for assigned patient-care tasks Be able to read, understand and follow a written Plan of Care Have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Be dependable and committed to scheduled patient care Complete all applicable Elite Home Healthcare employment and compliance requirements before providing patient care Already a CNA? We'll help you understand the training and competency requirements needed to begin providing HHA services. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Care is primarily provided in patients' homes. The position may involve exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Employees are required to follow applicable infection-control and safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment when required. The position requires the physical ability to perform assigned patient-care responsibilities, including occasional lifting, pushing or pulling of up to 50 pounds and safely assisting patients with activities identified in their Plan of Care.
