Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Overnight Stay unit, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients. As a member of our overnight team, you will ensure patient comfort and safety. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities Post-Operative Monitoring:
Take and record vital signs, monitor surgical dressing sites, and
Patient Comfort & Care:
Assist patients, including getting to the restroom, walking, changing positions, and providing fresh water or light meals if cleared.
Clinical Support:
Apply compression devices (SCDs), assist with ice packs or warm blankets, perform other duties as assigned.
Facility Maintenance:
Stock recovery room supplies, turn over or prep recovery beds, and keep the immediate post-surgical environment clean and organized
Requirements Certification:
Active, unencumbered CNA license in Indiana.
Certifications:
Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) .
Experience:
Previous experience in acute care, surgical services, or a step-down/recovery unit is preferred.
Skills:
Strong observational skills, compassionate bedside manner, and the ability to stay alert and responsive during 12-hour overnight shifts (typically 7 PM - 7 AM or 8 PM - 8 AM). From $26.50 per hour
