Job Description
This Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role offers a 13-week contract in a long-term care setting near Ness County, Kansas, with competitive pay of up to $1,080 per week. The position provides consistent hours and the opportunity to deliver compassionate care to residents while supporting a collaborative healthcare team. Candidates will work 3x12-hour shifts, days or nights, for 36 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to long-term care residents Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Perform transfers, repositioning, and ambulation Take and document vital signs as directed Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff Assist with meals and hydration as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable resident environment Follow individualized care plans and facility policies Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentialityQualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Meet Kansas CNA certification requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Reliable attendance and strong time-management skillsPreferred Skills:
High school diploma or GED Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience Current BLS/CPR certificationBenefits:
