Job Description

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver resident-centered care within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide hands-on support with daily living activities, mobility, and comfort measures, while accurately recording vital signs and observations. You will collaborate closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to uphold individualized care plans, ensure safety, and maintain infection control standards. Ideal candidates are empathetic, detail-oriented CNAs who thrive in a collaborative, continuously improving environment focused on dignity and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and report changes in condition to nursing staff Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices following safety protocols Support nurses with treatments, procedures, and documentation within CNA scope of practice Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas in accordance with infection control standards Offer compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity, comfort, and independence Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to coordinate care plans Document care accurately in electronic or paper records per facility policy Participate in quality improvement, in-service training, and continuing education Support a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement at Signature Health CARE Required Skills Patient hygiene and personal care Measuring and documenting vital signs Safe patient handling and transfers Infection control and standard precautions Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Basic restorative and mobility support Observation and reporting of patient status CPR and basic life support techniques Communication with interdisciplinary care teams Time management in a clinical setting
