Overview We are seeking a credentialed Medical Technician (EMT, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA) to support our nursing staff and prescribing provider in a residential addiction treatment program with withdrawal management. You will be the hands-on medical presence on the floor during the day: vital signs, withdrawal monitoring, medication observation, admission intake, and first response, working under the direction of our Registered Nurse. Key Responsibilities Take and record vital signs and complete CIWA-Ar / COWS withdrawal monitoring at scheduled intervals; report changes to the RN or on-call provider immediately Observe and document client self-administration of medications; assist with medication counts and MAR review under RN direction Support admissions: intake vitals, medical history, belongings and medication inventory, and specimen collection for drug screens Perform point-of-care testing (urine drug screens, breathalyzer, glucose) and prepare lab specimens Respond to medical concerns and provide first aid; maintain AED, naloxone, and first-aid supplies Coordinate and accompany clients to outside medical and dental appointments Uphold infection control standards and maintain medical supply inventory Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation Apply trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques; maintain professional boundaries Required Qualifications One of the following, current and in good standing: Kentucky EMT certification; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA); or Kentucky CNA (State Registered Nurse Aide) Current BLS/CPR certification High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays Strong assessment and crisis-response skills; reliable and adaptable EHR documentation proficiency preferred Preferred Qualifications Behavioral health, detox, psychiatric, corrections, emergency, or long-term care experience Familiarity with MAT protocols (Suboxone, Vivitrol) and

Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
