What You Will Do As a Team Leader, you will provide operational, clinical, and leadership oversight for the department ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the strategic goals of Baton Rouge General. Experience Requirements Prior supervisory experience preferred Cardiac nursing experience required Education Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Unit-specific training requirements completed within six (6) months of hire National certification in specialty area strongly preferred Special Skills, Licensure & Knowledge Requirements Current Louisiana Registered Nurse License required Strong leadership, organizational, and performance management skills Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations Knowledge of nursing operations, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Safety & Compliance Expectations Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements Complies with all organizational safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards Promotes a culture of patient safety, employee safety, and continuous quality improvement Ensures compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and standards of care
