Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to provide attentive childcare in our nursery followed by maintaining cleanliness throughout the gym facility, including locker rooms. This dual-role position requires a strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and the ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for both children and gym members.
Nursery Attendant Duties:
Supervise and care for children in the nursery area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, reading, and crafts Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized nursery environment Follow all childcare policies, including check-in/check-out procedures Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's needs or concerns Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow safety protocols
Gym Cleaning Duties:
Clean and sanitize gym equipment, floors, and high-touch surfaces regularly Maintain cleanliness in locker rooms, including restrooms, showers, sinks, and mirrors Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Dispose of trash and ensure waste areas are kept clean Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly Front Desk /
Member Interaction Duties:
Greet and assist gym and facility members in a friendly, professional manner Accept and process payments as needed Answer basic questions and provide general information about the facility Support front desk operations when covering as a counter worker
Qualifications:
Previous childcare experience preferred Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and sanitation standards Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and reliability Good communication and interpersonal skills CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Work Environment:
Combination of childcare setting and active gym environment Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 25-30 lbs) May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying noise levels
Schedule:
Regular Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM - 1:00
PM Additional Hours:
Opportunity to fill in on weekends as a counter worker when needed Must pass background check and drug screen. No phone calls.
Pay:
$9.00 - $10.00 per hour
