professional who wants to make a difference int the lives of our Residents. You will provide more than daily care - you will be a companion and comforting presence in the lives of our Residents. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Monitor vital signs regularly, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, documenting findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing memory care techniques to enhance comfort and orientation. Safely transfer patients using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other manual handling devices while following aseptic techniques and safe lifting practices. Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff or physicians, especially in critical care or emergency situations. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation throughout your shift. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure in Massachusetts. Prior experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care facilities is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS). Strong communication skills for caregiving and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment during patient care activities. Join us in making a difference overnight!
