A full-time opportunity is available for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential support in a dynamic educational setting, working one-on-one with a kindergarten student who has significant medical needs. This is a short-term contract position, covering 2.5 months from September through November, with potential for extension through the school year.

Schedule:

Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

Active CNA certification required Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in pediatric or school-based environments preferred Proficient in assisting children with high-level medical needs and mobility support, including experience with wheelchairs Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused approach Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and healthcare professionals Current CPR and First Aid certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on, one-to-one medical and personal care to a kindergarten student during school hours Assist with mobility, including transferring in/out of a wheelchair Support activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene Monitor the students health status throughout the school day and respond promptly to any medical needs or emergencies Communicate regularly with teachers, school nurses, and parents or guardians regarding the students health and well-being Maintain confidential records and adhere to school policies and protocols This position presents a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in a young students life through compassionate care and skilled support in a supportive school environment.
