Reading Center for
Health & Rehabilitation Shift:
This position is for 1st Shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift . Candidates must be available during this time, with holidays and every-other weekends. Responsibilities As a CNA at Reading Center for Health & Rehabilitation, you will:
  • Provide daily nursing care to assigned residents in line with state and federal guidelines.
  • Assist residents with personal care, grooming, mobility, meals, and activities of daily living.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Respond quickly and compassionately to call lights and resident needs.
  • Support restorative nursing and rehabilitation goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in resident care areas.
  • Uphold customer service standards and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment. Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and compassionate in stressful situations.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and assist residents as needed.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Prior experience in long-term care, hospital, or healthcare settings preferred but not required. Working Conditions
  • Provide care throughout nursing service areas, including resident rooms and nursing stations.
  • May encounter residents, family members, or visitors who are upset or emotional.
  • Exposure to chemicals, odors, infectious waste, and diseases is possible in the course of daily duties.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, lift, and move frequently throughout the shift.
