Position Requirements:
Completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant Certification Program a must. Short term rehab and skilled nursing experience a plus.Job Description :
Assists residents with activities of daily living such as grooming; oral hygiene/denture care; bath/shower; hair; feeding and nourishment, bathroom and incontinence, routine foot care as outlined in the care plan. Assist residents with transfers and ambulation if applicable. Responds to call lights and the needs of the resident. Accurately uses different types of scales i.e. chair, Hoyer, stand-up. Applies restorative devices such as splints, handrolls, braces, eyeglasses and hearing aids. Change bed linens on occupied and unoccupied beds.
