WEST BROOKFIELD
Certified Nursing Assistant Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides the direct, hands-on care that helps residents remain safe, comfortable, and maintain their dignity. CNAs are often the caregivers who spend the most time with residents and are the first to notice changes in a resident\'s condition. We will send you to school if you do not have a C.N.A. license too!
Typical CNA responsibilities include:
Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Helping residents get in and out of bed safely Assisting with walking, transfers, and mobility Supporting residents during meals and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration Answering call lights and responding to resident needs Assisting with toileting and incontinence care Making beds and helping maintain a clean, comfortable environment Taking and recording vital signs, weights, and other observations as assigned Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to the nurse Providing emotional support and companionship to residents and families A CNA is a frontline caregiver who helps residents with their daily needs, provides comfort and support, and works closely with nurses to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. CNAs are the heart of the nursing home. They provide hands-on care, build meaningful relationships with residents, and play a vital role in maintaining each resident\'s comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
