Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and clinical expertise will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care across diverse settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home health environments. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that each patient receives safe, respectful, and personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of populations, from geriatric patients to individuals with developmental disabilities or acute medical needs. Your expertise in medical documentation, patient transfer methods, and vital signs monitoring will support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare experiences. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care including medication administration, vital signs assessment, and catheter care while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to accurately document patient information and medical records Assist with patient transfers using manual handling techniques and specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safety and comfort Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility assistance, hygiene, and feeding in both inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers, or post-acute care facilities to coordinate patient care plans Apply aseptic techniques during procedures like phlebotomy or wound care to prevent infection and promote healing Participate in ongoing training on topics such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, behavioral health management, and infectious disease protocols Experience Proven experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including Level I & II trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice programs, or outpatient clinics Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for medical documentation and patient record management Critical care experience in ICU or emergency medicine environments is highly preferred Hands-on experience with specialized patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health patients or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology fundamentals, and safe lifting practices for heavy lifting tasks Prior caregiving experience in home & community care settings is advantageous Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and medication administration are required; additional certifications like Phlebotomy or DME are a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering compassionate, expert nursing care that transforms lives.
