Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA or PSS to join our team for full-time or part-time evening/overnight shifts. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality resident care within a supportive residential setting. Your expertise will ensure that individuals receive personalized attention and assistance with daily living activities during the evening/overnight hours. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working within a dynamic healthcare setting committed to excellence. Responsibilities Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor vital signs and observe for changes in health status, reporting any concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors. Support residents with dementia or memory care needs by implementing specialized care plans tailored to individual requirements. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and emergency procedures during evening/overnight shifts. Ensure facility is clean, sanitized, and ready for morning operations. Requirements Certification as a CNA or PSS is required. Prior experience caring for people with dementia is preferred. Prior experience in a residential care facility or assisted living setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential. Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Must be able to work evening/overnight hours.
