About Us Riemer Dermatology is a fast-paced, patient-focused dermatology practice committed to providing high quality medical and cosmetic skin care. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Medical Assistant who thrives in a team environment and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical history Assist providers with medical and surgical dermatology procedures Prepare and clean exam/procedure rooms Document accurately in EMR Perform prior authorizations and medication-related tasks Educate patients on medications, wound care, and treatment plans Assist with biopsies, excisions, injections, and cosmetic procedures Handle phone calls, patient messages, and scheduling support as needed Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day Qualifications Previous medical assistant experience required Dermatology experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment EMR experience preferred Reliable attendance and professionalism required Preferred Skills Prior authorization experience Surgical assisting experience Knowledge of biologics and specialty medications Ability to work independently while supporting team goals Benefits Competitive pay based on experience PTO and benefits package Employee discounts on products/services Opportunity for growth and advanced training in dermatology Please Note Due to the fast-paced nature of our office, applicants with prior medical office experience are strongly preferred.
