A Nursing Assistant provides hospital and nursing home patients with basic care and assists them with daily activities. Helps patients with dressing, washing, and feeding. May perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require completion of a regional agency-approved training program in order to obtain a certification before practicing.

Position Summary:
The Restorative CNA carries out patient related restorative nursing functions which are pre determined for each patient and assigned by Restorative Nurse in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of a State approved CNA program Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment. Completed restorative nursing training One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Essential Functions:
