This Position requires a caregiver who is physically capable of providing hands-on assistance with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and other personal-care needs. Candidates must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Looking to hire 2-3 caregivers for this position. Weekly range hours will be 10-30 hours a week. Schedule will be from 10am-6pm Monday through Friday and weekend schedule will be 10am-2:30pm. Rotating weekends will be required. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and independence. Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, accurately documenting all findings in medical records or electronic health records (EHR). Also record intake and output. Operate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to safely move individuals between beds, chairs, or other locations. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and aseptic techniques during patient care activities. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to relay important information about patient status and care plans. Assist with specialized care needs such as catheter care, dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice support, or pediatric assistance based on patient requirements. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or expereinced caregiver with prior caregiving experience required. Experience working in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), or home care settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (CPR) certification is essential. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks) systems for accurate documentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; physical stamina for long shifts required. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service and caregiver support.
