Referral bonuses for new hires Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting Support safe mobility and transfers to prevent falls Prepare meals and maintain a safe, clean home environment Drive clients to appointments, errands, and social engagements Provide companionship and emotional support Follow detailed care plans and document client progress accurately Schedule & Work Environment 2 to 12 hour shifts available mornings, evenings, and weekends (most shifts 3-4 hours) Must be available to work at least every other weekend Care is delivered in private homes throughout Bloomington, Edina, and surrounding metro areas Reliable personal transportation required (driving may be involved) Physical duties include walking, lifting, standing, and transfer assistance Requirements Current CNA registration active in Minnesota Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Clear English communication skills for caregiving and documentation Smartphone with internet for scheduling and communication Completion of paid orientation and training Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodations Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of healthcare or caregiving experience highly desirable Equal Employment Opportunity FirstLight Home Care is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
