Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Home Health and Hospice

The Mary T. Family of Companies has an immediate opening for a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within our Home Health and Hospice division based in COON RAPIDS, MN and serving clients in the surrounding area. Minnesota CNA Certification Required.

The Position:

The purpose of the CNA position is to provide personal cares, delegated nursing services, and light housekeeping services to maintain the client's physical and emotional well-being. The CNA will work with both home health and hospice patients to provide personal care services, nurse-delegated tasks, and light housekeeping services as directed by the patient's RN Case Manager and their established plan of care. Previous home health and hospice experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule:

Part-time Daytime hours (between 8a-4:30p), Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays. Additional days per your availability. Approximately 25 hours/week. The CNA's time will be split between home health and hospice patient care. CNAs will visit 2-4 clients in a typical work day. Career Advancement and Growth Requirements:

Minnesota CNA Certification required At least 1 year of experience in home health, preferred Previous hospice experience, preferred Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation required The ability to pass a background check Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills
