Overview RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN. RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area. Pay Range:
$18.03 - $23.33 /per hour (DOE - based on experience) This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position will primarily support our Hospital Inpatient Unit (IPU) assisting providers, nursing, and our patients by assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and accurately documenting patient observations. This position helps ensure the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Riverview's mission and values.
Essential Functions:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and feeding. Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and other basic clinical data in the electronic medical record. Monitor patients and report changes in condition or behavior to the RN. Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, use of assistive devices, and prevention of falls. Maintain patient hygiene, room cleanliness, and infection control standards. Assist with transporting patients to procedures, departments, or discharge locations. Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs in a timely and courteous manner. Set up equipment and supplies for patient care and assist nursing staff with procedures as needed. Promote a safe, respectful, and healing environment by following hospital policies and demonstrating professional behavior. Participate in shift reports, team meetings, and continuing education as required. Qualifications Minimum(s): High school diploma or equivalent Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Minnesota Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Preferred(s): 2+ years of hospital experience Experience with Electronic Medical Systems (Epic)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete documentation accurately. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and assist patients as needed
