Role:

Openings for pt/float evening and overnights in Mankato-Waterville- Owatonna! We are a company looking for smiling faces as a Direct Support Professional! In this role you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence. Your role will involve providing personal care, administering medication, and assisting with daily living activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed. Your work will have a direct impact on the lives of those you serve, and you will play a critical role in helping them achieve their full potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with disabilities Certification in CPR and First Aid Experience with medication administration Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and medication administration Maintain accurate records and documentation Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Skills:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will use a variety of skills on a daily basis. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also need to be able to provide personal care and medication administration. Additionally, you will need to be able to maintain accurate records and documentation. Finally, you will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide the best possible care to those you serve.

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
