Windy Acres Assisted Living w/ Dementia care is hiring Nursing Assistants for the following positions
OPEN POSITIONS
NOC- Overnights 10p-6a Our facility has 2 staff in the building for safety and emergencies; however the work load does not supposrt the need for 2 staff awake, so we have one staff awake and one staff asleep set times then awakefor a short period every night. This position is a combination of BOTH types of overnight shift that include: -Sleep 10p-4a on site for a flat rate of pay, and work 4a-6a for hourly rate on specific job tasks . . -Awake 10p-6a tasks and cares completed per schedule… awake all shift… This position requires every other weekend (Friday-Sunday) as a minimum for employment Responsibilities Provide health care services to residents Perform domestic and household tasks Administer prescribed medications Assist with clients personal care activities Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition Maintain patients care records and document provided services Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Employee Must:
Be 18 yrs of age or older Able to work every other weekend as condition of employment Ability to pass a MN DHS background check Have reliable transportation to and from work Proficiency in English Communication skills and ability to follow instructions Helpful, but not mandatory: Experience as a
CNA/NA/HHA/PCA/RA
Have interest or experience in the Past with Geriatric populations CPR certification Our facility houses up to 15 residents ages 55 and older in a very large home setting. This setting has 2 staff members on each shift to meet the needs of the residents in addition to support staff of RN, LALD, administrative staff and cook in commercial kitchen. This is a great staff to resident ratio!! The resident needs in the areas of ADL (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc), IADLs (laundry, cleaning, etc), medication management and behavioral monitoring and redirection that occurs as directed by an RN. These tasks range from staff reminders to staff completing, based on each individual resident needs. This is an ideal work environment with staff to resident ratios allowing for the one on one time and special attention to resident wants in addition to needs. Staff have access to a Nurse 24/7 to address resident needs.

In house training provided with actual residents that you will care for with already trained staff and nurses Know all your residents Know all your co-workers PTO Work around college schedules when provided 30 days in advance Hiring bonus $500.00, paid at 6 months of employment Census pay (depending on number of residents- upto $4.00/hr more) Block schedule Extra shifts or partial shifts at a $3/hr increase of rate Authorized Overtime ( at time and a half) when needed Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit Holiday pay at double time Meals while on shift Raise and review at 90 days (upto $1.00 raise at 90 days), then annually Base pay: $16-18/hr. This means you won't make less than the base pay, you will never be sent home or hours cut due to a 'low census'!
Census pay:
you get paid more money, the more residents the facility has!!
Extra pay:
In addition to the base pay and the census pay, there are extra shifts available that have an additional 'shift differential' of $3.00 per hour more that trained staff can pick up.
OT:
We also pay overtime if earned!
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
