A typical day includes:
Performing patient care duties under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served including adult and geriatric patient populations. Assisting with or performs patient activities of daily living, encouraging independent functioning when appropriate. Assisting patient comfort measures are met performing frequent rounds on patients and anticipating patient needs. Assisting with individual and group activities.
