Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to patients across the care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth patient care operations, promote recovery, and enhance overall patient satisfaction. Pay based on experience if currently certified. Responsibilities Assist with patient activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Provide compassionate care for individuals with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health conditions. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper hand hygiene practices while caring for patients with infectious diseases. Support patient comfort by repositioning bedridden individuals and operating equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids safely. Experience Prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred but we will train and assist with classes for certification. . Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology concepts relevant to patient care delivery is essential. Background working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays enhances your ability to deliver personalized care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, you will be put through CPR course if you are not certified. Familiarity with infection control protocols such as aseptic technique and handling infectious disease cases will support your success in this role.
