Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions Support infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sanitation practices Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care within our long term care facility Requirements Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative care Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting with equipment like Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods Strong communication skills coupled with a caring attitude that emphasizes patient dignity and comfort Join us to be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional patient service through compassionate caregiving.
