We are seeking a CNA Certified Nurse Assistant assist with our residents at Marymount Manor in Eureka, MO.
CNA Available Shifts:
Every other weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday Days 7a-7p Nights 7p-7a Company Overview Marymoutn Manor is owned by RSP Senior Living, a family-owned, local organization that has proudly served the St. Louis area for nearly five decades. Our facilities provide a range of care services, including long-term care, memory care, home health, hospice, and independent living, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. CNA Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents through attentive caregiving and clinical assistance. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintain a safe environment by using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptly. Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Document care provided clearly and accurately in medical records while maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Valid CNA certification. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is advantageous. Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities to foster positive relationships with residents and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and utilize patient transfer methods effectively.
