Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately while maintaining detailed medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality. Assist with patient transfers and mobility using safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Strong communication skills for effective caregiver-patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics during patient transfers or manual handling tasks. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
