CNA Evening Shift Responsibilities As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide hands-on care and support to residents throughout the evening shift.

Your responsibilities include:

Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized resident care Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity during the evening shift Perform regular resident rounds and respond to resident needs Follow individualized care plans and facility nursing procedures Assist with repositioning, transfers, and mobility as needed Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas Work collaboratively with CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and nursing leadership CNA Qualifications Active Missouri CNA Certification (Required) Previous CNA experience preferred; new CNAs with clinical training are encouraged to apply Experience in skilled nursing, nursing homes, long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior care is a plus Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care CPR/BLS certification preferred or required according to facility policy
