Job Description
This postion is for a person who has a CNA/CMT license through DHSS. We are seeking a CNA/CMT to pass medications on our LTC/SNF neighborhood. This postion works 6:00AM to 6:30PM every Saturday and Sunday and it is a "Weekend Warrior" position so this person works 24 hours and gets paid for 32 and is elegible for benefits. This person uses Point Click Care to give medications to the neighbors at the scheduled times, documents in PCC when the medication is given and documents any issues. They report to the Day Shift Charge Nurse, and make sure that the Charge Nurse knows about anyone that refuses a medication, is outside of parameters for the medication, or any issues. When not passing medications this person prepares for their upcoming med passes, stocks the med carts, and other duties as needed. This person also helps the team on the LTC/SNF to care for the neighbors, provide ADL assistance, help with dining, and other needs of the neighbors. This person needs to be a team player, that is adaptable to the needs of the neighborhood, and has an understanding of resident rights, what abuse and neglect is, and has a good understanding of Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
